I’ve been a travel researcher and writer; public relations writer and executive; Spanish to English translator; and book editor and reviewer. I co-founded JCV Productions, where I produce television news reports,  travel videos and documentaries. At New York City public schools, I worked as community liaison/parent coordinator, school counselor, college admissions advisor, and college office director. 

I’m currently most excited about the personal essay, both as the focus of my own writing and in my work with others as a coach. I love guiding individuals to find and express their voice in writing. The deep collaboration we achieve is profoundly meaningful and often transformative, leading students to self-discovery and empowerment unachievable through AI. It also maximizes admission options.
