After working with hundreds of students and almost as many admissions officers, I know what applicants need to achieve in their writing, and help them get there.
A successful applicant expresses a compelling narrative of who they are and what they will contribute to the community of which they want to be a part. Ideally, everything in the application works together to highlight what makes them special and what they will bring to their cohort. The majority of admissions officials are guided by the mission to put together an interesting class, representing a gamut of interests, abilities, and backgrounds (this hasn’t changed since the Supreme Court barred race as criteria). To be seriously considered and ultimately offered a spot, applicants need to convey their “selling points” quickly and effectively. That's where I come in.
